Lynn Charles, PsyD, LCSW is both a licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical psychologist who has worked in the mental health field for over 25 years. I am honest, caring and appreciative of my clients for opening their lives and hearts to me in order to reveal their experiences, lives and desires. There are many "professionals" who are hanging up their shingles as therapists and are not fully invested in their work. I am invested and grateful to have developed trusting and supportive relationships with my clients in order to move them on to the "next step" that they dream of.​I am also a trained life and executive coach so I tend to focus on goal-setting and self-fulfilling prophecies that create obstacles.

I have worked with children and families in settings such as schools, courts and clinics. Born in Puerto Rico, raised by West Indian parents in Brooklyn, I now currently reside in Pennsylvania. I spend my free time with my son who keeps her on her toes. He has been her inspiration to start writing children’s books in response to his many questions and experiences.
